Skippers, Captains, Coxswains and Masters for Hire
Tony Platts-Baggs is director of Wet Boat Hire and is a Coxswain Near Coastal 1 (NC1). He has for many years skippered recreational vessels, with more recent registration with the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) to operate commercial vessels. Tony recently assisted with a delivery of a fly-bridge cruiser from the Gold Coast to Tasmania. The master was hired to deliver the boat at short notice and Tony assisted with watch-keeping, general hand, skipper / captain duties all the way down the east coast. As a result of his planning, performance under pressure and professionalism, Tony makes an excellent choice for coxswain, skipper and captain hire for vessels <12 m.
Mick Becker is a Master V and has sailed the eastern seaboard as well as around Indonesia, Vanuatu and Malaysia. Mick was also involved in delivery of the fly-bridge cruiser. Mick's experience means he is ready for hire as a skipper, captain or master on vessels <24 m.
